Check the Stagefright vulnerability of your Android device

You can check your Android device and it's vulnerable to the Stagefright bug by an App.

Stagefright is the latest nasty vulnerability to plague Android users. It is spread via MMS messaging and once infected, the hackers own your device.
Do you want to find out if your device is vulnerable? Well, I can tell you now that unless you're running a currently supported Nexus device then the answer to that question will be a "yes," but here's an app "Stagefright Detector App" that you can use to confirm the worst. This app is developed by security firm Zimperium (the same security firm that first uncovered the vulnerability), this will scan your system for it.
If the Stagefright vulnerability is detected, the app will then try to sell you a solution.
If you're not in the mood to be sold something then Zimperium does offer some good advice on how to protect yourself from Stagefright in the absence of a patch being made available for your device.
