Dileep and Kavya Madhavan got married in Kochi, in a secret ceremony on Friday morning. The wedding was kept a undisclosed till hours before the ceremony and Dileep announced the news via Facebook live.

 

Force 2: John-Sonakshi’s film dips further

Force 2 is a 2016 Indian action thriller film written, and directed by Abhinay Deo, starring John Abraham, Sonakshi Sinha and Tahir Raj Bhasin in lead roles, witnessed a significant drop in its collections on 22^nd November. After collecting about Rs 21 crore in first four days, the film could collect only Rs 2.10 crore on Tuesday, taking the five-day total to Rs 23.10 crore.

Hawk book wins £20,000 Samuel Johnson prize

Author Helen Macdonald has won the £20,000 Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction for her book about how becoming a falconer helped her deal with grief.

H is for Hawk - described as "a book unlike any other" by the chair of the judging panel - is the first memoir to win the award, now in its 16th year.

In it Macdonald reveals how training her own goshawk helped her come to terms with the death of her father.

The poet and historian beat five other titles, three of them by women.

This year's shortlist, which included a biography of Roy Jenkins and a look at life in Vichy France, marked the first time female authors had outnumbered their male counterparts.
