Meesha Shafi - Daughter of Saba Hameed and step daughter of Waseem Abbass - is a Pakistani actress, singer, song writer and model who works in Lollywood, Bollywood and Hollywood.
Born on 1st DEC 1981, Meesha entered showbiz industry at the age of 17 opposite Jawad Ahmed in a video Bin Tere Kya Hai Jeena. Meesha became popular after her super hit song Jugni with Arif Lohar on Coke Studio.
She made her acting debut in a Hollywood film ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’ by Mira Nair. Her song ‘Bijli Aye Ya Na Aye’ in this film is already a super hit. She has also worked in a Pakistani film Waar. Meesha Shafi is married to a guitarist and the former band member of Overload, Mahmood Rahman.
